My Holiday

During the last holidays(1th April-19th April),I was feeling bore at my home but one day was my special day.On that day I went Tempe to celebrate a cultural festival of Bangladesh which is known as 'Pohela Boishakh'.Pohela Boishakh is the New Year celebration programme.14th April of each year we celebrate this programme because it is the first day of Boishakh month and Boishakh month is the first month of bengali twelve months. So on this day all population of Bangladesh welcome to a new year with joy and happiness by organizing different cultural activities. On the basis of Pohela Boishakh,in this year, all Australian Bangladeshi organizied two cultural fair
on 10th and 17th April in Tempe and Olympic park respectively.

On 10th April,I went Tempe Park with my husband in the evening. When we had arrived there, we saw there were no parking space around the Tempe park. All parking space was already fill up.So we had to go Sydney airport car parking centre for car park and after do that we came back in Tempe park. The park became a lovely crowd place and I saw all people wore red and white coloured dress which is especially for Pohela Boishakh. We also wore red and white coloured dress.I think on that day Tempe park looked in different colour. We enjoyed some music which was performed by Bangladeshi band music group. Then we went around the fair and visited different stall. We bought some Bangladeshi commodity and took some Bangladeshi food such as Fuska and Chotpoti that was very taste.During the whole time in the fair we met with a lot of Banladeshi friends and relatives. We made wish for each other by saying 'Shuvo Noboborso' and passed some time with them with a lot of fun and happiness. We did back home at 11 pm in the night.

I really enjoyed that day because that was a great get togather of all Bangladeshi who lives in Australia and it focused our distinguish cultural features in front of all population of Australia.
